Friends, this week Georgia C.A.R.E. Project was at the state capitol working to change marijuana laws in this state. On Wednesday James Bell and Tracy Manning participated in a press conference by Sen. Harold Jones II (D-Augusta) to introduce Senate Bill 254 that would remove felony for possession of any amount of marijuana. This is one of 7 bills pending in the Georgia General Assembly. Over the next few week we will be sending out calls-to-action encouraging your to call, email or attend an event.

This will not be an easy task. It will not be handed to us. We will have to fight to educate, and engage our legislators to take action.
