Last year the Oregon cannabis community held a fundraiser for United States Representative Earl Blumenauer which raised over $160,000. That’s more than the national cannabis community raised at a national industry event for Presidential candidate Rand Paul. It’s just one of many examples of how awesome the Oregon cannabis community can be. The Oregon cannabis community is back at it again, this time in the form of a fundraiser for Oregon Senator Ron Wyden.

Ron Wyden has not always been a strong supporter of marijuana reform, but he has fought a lot for it in recent years, and deserves the cannabis community’s support. The event is being organized by Amy Margolis, along with a handful of Oregon cannabis companies. Amy wears many hats, and while I have never met her before, I am a fan of all of her advocacy work.
