Kentucky’s latest cannabis bill proposal would legalize both medical and recreational cannabis, killing two birds with one stone. Senator Perry Clark (D-Louisville) recently filed the Cannabis Freedom Act which would regulate the sale of cannabis similar to alcohol.

Clark has been outspoken about cannabis almost daily in the Kentucky Senate. “It is abundantly clear to me that cannabis, while being much less harmful, should be treated the same as alcohol,” Clark wrote. “The Cannabis Freedom Act is an outline on how to tax and regulate the sale of marijuana to adults 21 and older in Kentucky.
