Milegalize dc high times

Once again, Board members from the effort to legalize marijuana in Michigan are going outside the state borders to proclaim the benefits of supporting the state petitioning campaign.

MILegalize Board members Jamie Lowell and Rick Thompson are both on the speaker’s list for the first-ever High Times Magazine Business Summit in Washington, D.C. In addition to speak/ing, Lowell will be honored with the Trailblazer Award for innovation in the industry.

Along with Darrell Stavros, Lowell co-founded the 3rd Coast Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Ypsilanti. Established in 2009, 3rd Coast is recognized as the first licensed medical marijuana dispensary east of the Mississippi River. 3rd Coast was one of the primary members of the Michigan Association of Compassion Centers, the state’s first industry association, formed in 2010. Rhory Gould of Ann Arbor’s Arborside will also be honored as a Trailblazer.

Their visit to the nation’s capital comes after several other Board members made appearances outside the state. Matthew Abel appeared in Las Vegas at an industry convention, then joined other Board members Josey Scoggin, Nick Zettell, Chuck Ream and Michael Tuffelmire in D.C. for the annual Drug.............http://www.theweedblog.com/milegalize-board-members-to-speaker-at-high-times-business-summit-in-d-c/
